The copy in the "Apartment Life under TSBin. There must be an exact copy of the icon. You know that you put in the right place if you receive a message after the collision with the crack, it says" Replace Existing File? "Click, click Yes, then this will work.
You should not delete the original executable file itself. Whenever you have a NoCD crack, you can cut and paste the origianal exe in a safe place on your computer or you can compress the original file and leave the archive folder TSbin. Create removing TSBin NoCD crack, then a link to the new executable file, so you can click it to start the game.
You may need the apartment life and uninstall then reinstall again. This time, follow the instructions I gave you. Also reinstall DirectX 9c, just in case.
There is a new patch when you reinstall Apartment Life, you should apply the patch (review of the requirements to be completed to the original exe). Now the patch No-CD for the correct part. (The Sims 2: Apartment Life v1.16.0.194 [MULTI16] No-DVD/Fixed EXE)
